We have a list of places that one should visit during the golden triangle Tour.
1. Taj Mahal:
Agra trip is incomplete without visiting the epitome of love. The beauty and one of the seven wonders of the world, Taj Mahal was built in the loving memory of Mumtaz, wife of Emperor Shah Jahan. The tourists who visit Taj Mahal define it as the monument whose architectural beauty has never been surpassed by any other monument.
Made up from while marbles, Taj Mahal is considered as one of the best monuments that have been built up by the Mughals in India. Some believe that this beauty glows in the light of full moon.
2. Agra Fort:
Located on the banks of river Yamuna, Agra Fort is one of the important and powerfully built up fort of the Mughals. It was constructed by Akbar, the third Mughal emperor on the remains of an ancient site known as Badalgarh. Several palaces, mosques and well were built inside the fort during the Lodhi period.
3. Mehtab Bagh:
The last of 11 Mughal built gardens which is on the banks of Yamuna river is a crescent shaped, Mehtab Bagh. It was initially built to view the place of Taj Mahal. It is known as the Moonlight garden which was built by Emperor Babur. Its designed as the charbagh complex which is a Persian style layout with four parts.
The frequent flooding and misusage of the facility destroyed the charming features of the garden and fell into disrepair until it was a little more than a huge mound of sand. To protect the Taj Mahal from the erosive effects of the sand blown across the river, the Mehtab Bagh was reconstructed and now is one of the best places in Agra to view Taj Mahal.
4. Fatehpur Sikri:

Fatehpur Sikri is also one of the best examples of Mughal planning and architecture.
